REFUND POLICY



Refund Eligibility

Customers are eligible for a refund only under the following conditions:

1. Non-Delivery of Package

We understand how important it is to receive your order promptly.
If you do not receive your package, please first contact the carrier (Canada Post or UPS), as they are often best equipped to locate or resolve delivery issues.

If non-delivery is verified through our tracking system and the carrier confirms that the parcel was lost or not delivered due to their fault, you will be eligible for store credit.

💬 Note: If the carrier issues compensation to us for a lost parcel, we will pass that refund directly to you.


2. Major Flaw Not Shown in Pictures

If an item you receive has a significant flaw, damage, or defect that was not visible or mentioned in the product photos or description, you may qualify for a refund or store credit.
We carefully document each garment, but if a clear oversight occurs on our part, we will make it right.


Refund Process

Step 1 — Contact Us

  • A detailed explanation of the issue

  • Clear photos if the issue involves a defect or item flaw

Step 2 — Verification

Our team will review your request and may ask for additional details (e.g., proof of non-delivery or additional images) to verify the claim.
You will receive a written response confirming whether your refund or replacement has been approved.

Step 3 — Refund or Replacement

Once the claim is verified:

  • Refunds are processed within 1–2 business days to your original payment method

  • Replacements are shipped within 14 days, if available


Exceptions & Limitations

1. Incorrect Address

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate at checkout.
Uncle Sam Vintage is not responsible for refunds or replacements if an incorrect or incomplete address is provided.

2. Refused or Unclaimed Packages

If a package is refused or remains unclaimed at its delivery address, we are unable to issue a refund.
It is the customer’s responsibility to accept or retrieve deliveries in a timely manner.

3. Final Sale Items

All items are final sale unless a verifiable mistake was made by Uncle Sam Vintage (e.g., undisclosed flaw or wrong item sent).


Additional Notes

Because each vintage piece is unique and one-of-a-kind, exchanges for identical replacements are not possible.
In most cases where an issue is verified, you may keep the item and still receive a store credit or partial refund, depending on the situation and value.
